We Fix GHDs
We have been repairing ghd hair straighteners professionally since 2010 in our Computer and Electronics service centre based in Ormskirk, Lancashire.
We repair all types of ghd excluding the latest v6, Eclipse & Platinum models which are unfortunately non-repairable.
All of our ghd repairs are undertaken at our own insured business premises by our own full time staff. We do not ship to other companies, we undertake and guarantee all of our own work.
As part of our repairs service, we safety inspect each and every pair of ghd to ensure optimal safety. Remember, ghd’s operate at 240v and heat to around 200 deg C which makes them potentially dangerous if they are not in tip top condition.

If you ghd’s stop working, we can usually have them repaired and returned to you within 48 hours of receiving them from you. Even quicker if you live local. Simply fill in the online form which will trigger an electronic ticket in our system. This will generate a unique reference number and the ability to track your repair online.
Check for confirmation email then post them to us
Our system will send you a notification by email or SMS. This will include the postage instructions and confirmation of costs. There is no commitment to purchase at this stage and forms a line of communication directly with our engineers. once you are satisfied, all you need to do is post your ghd straihteners to us. You do not need to pay a penny at this stage.
Track your repair progress online with live updates
Once we receive your ghds, we update our system which sends an email to you letting you know your ghds have safely arrived. At this point, our engineers will quickly identify the fault and confirm the repair price. Most repairs are £29.99. Occasionally where multiple components have failed or other parts need attention we will advise you. At this point you make the decision to purchase. Payment is via done quickly via PayPal. If you decide against the repair, there is nothing to pay other than the return postage or we can dispose if they are beyond economical repair.
Receive your repaired GHDs back within 48 hours*
Once payment is received, the repair is undertaken, we carry most items for repairs in stock. Most repairs only take an hour or two however, we do like to run some tests for up to 24 hours depending on the fault reported. Every step of the repair and test is added to our system which you are updated with an email. We aim to ship within 24 hours of payment. We ship by next day courier and the tracking number is emailed to you by our system so you can track the return right up to your front door.
